Do you check for previous accident damage or flood damage?
Yes. It's the first thing we look for when we get to the car.
Will Lemon Squad inspect Salvaged Vehicles?

Do you inspect cars on the weekend?
Yes, but please give us as much notice as possible.
Does Lemon Squad do appraisals?
No we do not. You need to contact an appraisal service. We do inspections.
Do you check for frame damage?
We visually look to see if we see anything wrong with the frame. Just because we do not see any damage does not mean that it is not bent. The only way to be sure is to have the vehicle put on a frame machine and measured. This is expensive and will need to be brought to a frame specialists.
How long does Lemon Squad save the reports?
Lemon Squad will keep your report for 60 days. After 60 days our system will purge the report. We recommend printing out the report with the pictures and saving it in your records.
How soon after I place my order will you inspect the vehicle?
Our normal turn around time is by the end of the next business day. If you place your order after our normal business hours or on the weekend, your inspection will be assigned to the inspector the following business day. Reports come within 24 hours of the inspection being completed. Most reports will come the same evening. If the inspector uploads his report after we are closed, it may be early the next morning before you see it.
If the car sells before the inspection is made, will you refund my money?
Yes, you will get a full refund.
Does the Inspection come with a Guarantee?
Only to the extent that those parts of the vehicle covered by our inspection will be reported accurately. If you feel something was overlooked, email us through our contact page and tell us exactly what we missed.
Can I place an order outside of regular business hours?
Yes. Our website is open to take orders 24 hours a day. We will assign your order to the inspector right away the next business day.
Do you check the title and paperwork for the vehicle?
Yes. If the title and paper work is available, we will take pictures of it so you can review it.
How do I pay for the inspection?
You pay for the inspection at the time you make the appointment. We take all major credit cards through our site, which uses Pay Pal, or we can take your payment over the phone.
What is the policy on canceling an appointment?
You have 3 hours after placing your order to cancel the inspection. Anything after that can not be canceled. If you cancel within the three hour limit there is a $25.00 cancelation fee.
Will the Inspector do a compression check?
No. While a compression check may be useful for diagnosing a specific problem, it is not done for a used car inspection. If other symptoms indicate the need for a compression test, you probably shouldn't be interested in the car.
Do you do state DMV inspections?
No. The DMV uses a different standard of inspection. Consult with your state DMV for details.
Do you put the car on a lift for the inspection?
No. We look at the car wherever the car is located- at home, work or at a dealer. Lemon Squad's inspectors are trained to find any problem without the need for a lift.
Will I be able to talk to the inspector?
No. The inspectors are quite busy and we have had customers abuse the privelage to talk to them. It some cases we do make an exception.
